Students from Maplewood Richmond Heights’ Student Success Center kicked off Thursday morning at Maplewood’s Shop ‘n Save collecting for Weekend on Wheels — the school district’s program to help area families with food needs.
Among the many donors was one, who wanted to stay anonymous, who gave $250 plus in food items, then gave cash too! The food drive, “Scare Away Hunger,” is a month-long push for the Weekend on Wheels program.
The Student Success Center is a support program for MRH High School students who are at danger of not graduating with their class, for a variety of reasons.
Great program. Good Luck!
