Work began at the Maplewood Taco Bell (2750 S Big Bend Boulevard) on Thursday, a source said.
All Maplewood permits have been obtained for the work. Demolition on the former Tim Hortons, which closed in December 2017, will come first.

lol it has the tan brick siding like every other new commercial building in the last two years
If Taco Bell wants to be successful in Maplewood they will need to add fried chicken to their menu.
I miss Timmy Ho’s so much. Their dark roast was exceptional and their breakfast sandwiches were delicious. However, they screwed up my order so often I learned to double check before leaving. I also went there one time for dinner and got a non-breakfast ham sandwich and the meet was ice cold and terrible. Taco Bell sounds okay for the location, but I was hoping for a Hardees. Good breakfast, good thickburgers, and Red Burrito tacos are better than Taco Bell tacos. But I’ll settle for the fact it is not going to be a McDonalds.
While I loved their coffee and donuts, the service at Tim Horton’s was downright horrible, regardless of location.
The Taco Bell in Dogtown on Manchester that hadn’t been updated since 1987 is now closed.
I hope you are not saying they are completely tearing down the Tim Horton’s building because it’s not old. I don’t like material being unnecessarily taken to the landfill.
Gary – Taco Bell will keep the old Tim Hortons building – just renovate it to meet their needs.
Glad to hear that. Thanks.
