Tapped restaurant, which opened last month at 7278 Manchester Road, plans to donate its tips to a different charity each month. In June, Joe’s Place will receive the tips, Joe’s place reported on Facebook.
Joe’s Place is the MRH School District’s safe haven for their students — boys between the ages of 14 and 18 without a home. Joe’s Place is a collaboration of the MRH School District, Crossroads Presbyterian Church and other local churches, and committed volunteers.
Two Joe’s Place residents graduated this year.
