Kelly Larson teaches many young people the art of sewing in her studio, Spirited Hands Art, on Sutton Boulevard. The kids are divided into the Bobbins (beginners), Spools (intermediate), and Super Spools (advanced).
On Friday the Super Spools showed their “collection” of five looks that they had worked on throughout the school year with a fashion show at the studio.”
It is truly a “feel good” event and one to shout out about,” Larson said. “These kids are 13 years old, and have displayed the most sincere form of dedication to their art and craft, not to mention, forged amazing friendships to boot!”
Great to see the young fashionistas!
