The last Auto Plaza Ford wall fell, partially onto Manchester Road Saturday afternoon, as a contractor stood blocking traffic from driving in the lane. The site is the northwest corner of Manchester Road and S. Big Bend Boulevard.

The demolition of the previous Ford dealership building is to make way for a new location for the QuikTrip currently at 3010 S. Big Bend.
Property owner Dan Lesseg said QuikTrip brought in a second piece of heavy equipment to finish the job on Saturday, and that work is going well. He said sorting through the remaining rubble, to be recycled or taken to the correct landfill could take up to two weeks.
He said a typical QuikTrip takes six months to build.
