The City of Maplewood, Maplewood Community Betterment Foundation and the Mid County Chamber of Commerce has announced that the total raised for the support of Asador Del Sur following the fire that forced its closing was $8,568.31.
Many Maplewood businesses and individuals contributed.
On behalf of the City of Maplewood (Laura Miller), the Maplewood Community Betterment Foundation (Patrick Jugo), and the Mid County Chamber of Commerce, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your outstanding support of Asador Del Sur during their recovery efforts. The generosity and spirit of this community have been truly remarkable!
While we are still waiting on a few final contributions, we wanted to move quickly to get funds into Asador’s hands. We have issued a check for $8,568.31, with the expectation that the total will continue to grow. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the final amount collected.
The check will be presented to Maria on Monday, September 29th.
