A dedication ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 8 at The Heights, 8001 Dale Avenue, Richmond Heights, on the grounds of the Mid-County Veterans Memorial.
Members of local Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Posts have been invited, along with the general public.
This year there will be special recognition of Gulf War veterans, including Iraq and Afghanistan. All veterans are invited to come and be recognized.
There will also be an unveiling of a new statue as an addition to the veterans garden.
