Join us for a Booksigning and Discussion for Saving Phoebe Marrow!
Saving Phoebe Murrow by Herta B Feely is the story of a mother’s struggle to keep her 13-year-old daughter safe from harm while juggling her career and family; a tale of of mothers and daughters, miscommunication and malice, drugs and Facebook, prejudice and revenge.
Based loosely on events that happened in Missouri in 2006, the novel addresses the ever-increasing problem of cyberbullying, and Herta will be joined by Tina Meier, founder of The Megan Meier Foundation, a nonprofit organisation created to combat the problems with bullying online. Herta and Tina will be answering questions and discussing how to help and protect teenagers on the Internet.
A portion of all proceeds from this book goes to the Megan Meier Foundation, and for this event, The Bookhouse will be donating 10% of our sales during the event to the foundation as well.
