The locations are in the process of being sold to US Sierra, which has a sign on Aikido. Robert and Karen Scheidt are listed as owners of both locations. Karen said the sale will be final the end of January.

Dan Yokley has reopened at 8514 Manchester Road in Brentwood as Kings and Queens Barber and Beauty. Correction: The owner of Kings and Queens Barber and Beauty is Paul Johnson not Dan Yokley, according to a comment.

Elliot Freeman, owner (Sensei) of Aikido Martial Arts, said his landlord, Bob Scheidt, let him know the change was coming, so he decided to move before he had to.

Aikido’s new address is 7700 Clayton Road, suite 320. Freeman said he loves Maplewood and hopes to return.
