Anna’s Linens, with a location in the Deer Creek Shopping Center in Maplewood, has announced that all locations will be closing. Three St. Louis area locations are listed on the company’s website.
An employee at the Maplewood store said Monday the store’s last day will be some time in July.
Anna’s Linens operates 252 retail locations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The company filed for Chapter 11 protection on June 14. Store furniture, fixtures, and equipment are for sale in the liquidation, according to ABL Advisor.
An employee at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft, also in Deer Creek, said business there was good and even busy at times. She attributed it to the store’s marketing efforts, such as text messages and emails to customers, coupons, and classes.
