Maplewood's new bandstand will be used for the Wednesday concert at Ryan Hummert Park.

Maplewood’s new bandstand was delivered to Ryan Hummer Park Monday morning.

Maplewood Community Development Director Rachelle L’Ecuyer said the bandstand would be used for the summer concert series at Ryan Hummert Park and other events such as Let Them Eat Art, and the city is looking into renting it out.

I am glad to see this new addition…..I have been to Brentwood concerts and thought their concert stage was pretty cool…I think I had commented once awhile back, that I wish we could get a stage like Brentwood’s that was lighted, and glad to see we got a lighted one. It will make the concerts so much more enjoyable for everyone….and maybe we could even start a little later….some people aren’t able to come till a little later than 6:00 pm.
