Brentwood Chief of Police Dan Fitzgerald reports that the Brentwood police and fire departments have decided to postpone the “BBQ for Backstoppers” scheduled for Saturday, due to the potential for weather issues in the next few days. The event will be rescheduled in August/September.
I think it’s wise to postpone the Backstoppers BBQ, but just a head’s up……I hope they check with the Maplewood Lion’s so that they don’t do it the same time as the Lion’s schedules their Backstoppers BBQ……They have been doing one in Aug or Sept for several years now…..We want to get the most money for the Backstoppers…..so we need to have our BBQ’s at different times…..
