Two big planning and zoning meetings this week: Brentwood is set to have Chick-fil-A on its Wednesday meeting agenda, a planning department staffer said last week, and a new Tim Hortons Cafe and Bake Shop at the corner of Big Bend Boulevard and Hazel Avenue is on the the Maplewood Monday meeting agenda.
Brentwood Mayor Pat Kelly said at his coffee with residents Sept. 26 that Chick-fil-A will replace the current Macaroni Grill on Eager Road.
Tim Hortons announced Sept. 27 that the first of 40 St. Louis locations will be in Maplewood.

Maplewood planning and zoning will also consider a hair salon at 2100 Bellevue Avenue.
Brentwood’s Monday board of aldermen meeting has been canceled.
