City Council to vote on city manager pay range; heating, cooling in living units


The Maplewood city council in its meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 10 (7 p.m.) will vote on an ordinance to set the city manager’s salary range at $125,000 to $175,000, according to the agenda. The city manager hired in August 2021 left this September. The reason hasn’t been made public.

Also on the agenda are ordinances to establish tax rates; to accept bids for the plumbing, HVAC and electric services for city buildings; and an ordinance to require heating and air conditioning in any dwelling unit or occupiable work area.
