Carolyn Mantia, broker owner of Clarity Street Realty,  said in an email to 40 South News that the firm has bought 1712 S. Big Bend Boulevard (in July 2015, for $180,000, according to St. Louis County records), and are in the process of moving there from 1530 South Big Bend Boulevard.

In a little more than a year, Clarity Real Estate has doubled in size, with sales volume of more than $13 million, according to Mantia. The new building is more than 3,000 square feet — triple the size of their previous office.

The firm added windows, a new facade and a kitchen. They also have a community room available to individuals and groups. Up to 1,000 square feet of office space will be available for lease.

“I could have moved my business to anywhere in the metropolitan area. I chose the Big Bend location because it is in the heart of a vibrant community that we are committed to,” Mantia said.

Vivian McBride, co-owner of Clarity Street and owner of the Legacy Law Firm will also operate in this space. McBride obtained her real estate license this year and will handle Clarity’s commercial business.

The company will hold an open house/fall festival at the new location Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with live music, food from The Maya Cafe and others, and give-aways from other local businesses.
