Fire on Brentwood HS track: police chief

Monday, June 9

  • At 2:30 p.m. officers were called to a business in the Brentwood Promenade. The victim states she had lost her wallet while shopping.
  • At 6 p.m. police were called to a business in the Brentwood Promenade for a shoplifter.  A-23-year old Ferguson woman was arrested for stealing. She had taken multiple items of clothing.

Friday, June 6

  • At around 9:15 p.m. police received a call for a fire on the track at Brentwood High School.  Someone set fire to a large pad and a trash can. The fire was quickly put out by Brentwood Fire Department.

Saturday, June 7

  • At 7:03 a.m. police responded to a business in the 8900 block of Manchester Road for a burglary report. A plate glass window was shattered and a small amount of money was taken.

Sunday, June 8

  • At 7:30 a.m. police were called to the 9100 block of Wrenwood Lane for a report of an abandoned motorcycle. Apparently the motorcycle had been taken from the 1500 block of Swallow Lane and abandoned a block away. The motorcycle was returned to its owner.

Monday, June 9

  • At 7:27 a.m. police received a call for two large dogs running loose on Salem Avenue. The owner of the dogs was located in the 2500 block of Louis Avenue and issued a summons for allowing dog to run at large.
