The Professional Firefighters of Maplewood reported on Facebook that the Maplewood Fire Department “put a quick knock down on a house fire” in Maplewood Monday evening.
“Thanks to our neighboring communities for the assist and we’re happy to report rather minimal damage with no injuries,” they reported.
40 South News received a message via Twitter about 6 p.m. that at least seven fire trucks and other units were on Gerhard Avenue immediately north of Maplewood Richmond Heights.
