The very first Let Them Eat Art was 19 years ago in 2006. Unlike most of the good ideas that I have had this one took root and flourished. Of course, there were very many other folks involved. But it is our former Community Development director Rachelle L’ecuyer and her tireless hard work who deserves most of the credit.
The first couple of years were really wild as those who witnessed the Sunset Firecracker dances can attest. Take a look back. Here is another summer rerun from 2021 about that first LTEA.
