The Gol Bowl in the Loop is fast casual. However, the new Maplewood location is sit down with table service; plus, they will eventually have a liquor license and bar. Maplewood Special Business District, relying on Liquor Licenses to prop up the downtown, has not paid attention to Lacledes Landing failures.

In the ‘30’s she lived in a rooming house in the ‘7400 block of Flora. My aunt& uncle ,Henry & Rosalyne Phillips lived there also. Across the street were my parents, Virgil & Millie Schuetz. I was born in 1935 when they lived there,in an apartment only a few bldgs.west of the Methodist Church.
