Bonita Jamison is one of three finalists being considered to replace the current, retiring Hazelwood’s superintendent, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
“My focus remains on leading Maplewood Richmond Heights and continuing the strong progress we’ve made for our students, staff, and families,” Jamison said in a statement Monday in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “Being named a finalist in Hazelwood is an honor. It’s a community I know well,” she said. “I have deep respect for the Hazelwood community and appreciate the opportunity, while remaining fully committed to my role at MRH.”

It seems odd that finalists were made public in the news? Usually folks don’t want that out unless they are the one selected due to standing in their current job.
