Brad Jackson, plaintiff who has filed personal suits against Maplewood Mayor Barry Greenberg, Kate Bethel, owner of Maven Bath and Candle Co., formerly in Maplewood, and Isaac Chosich, an employee at Maven on Friday sent a PDF to 40 South News of a ‘memo’ sent from Jackson’s attorney, Joseph Ott to the US District Court in opposition to a request made by Chosich for a summary judgement from the court for the suit against him, not including the others.
A request for a summary judgement is a request to have a judge decide a case without going to a jury trial. The Memo in opposition lists reasons given by Ott why he and Jackson oppose Chosich’s request.
The PDF is 14 pages long. See the complete PDF: Memo in opposition
