Monday, Jan. 5

  • Police responded to a business in the Brentwood Promenade for a shoplifting report. A 28-year-old man was arrested for stealing.  He had taken clothing.

Tuesday, Jan. 6

  • At 7:31 p.m. police were called to a business in the 8400 block of Eager Road for a stealing report. A suspect stole six bottles of vodka.

Wednesday, Jan. 7

  • At 9:10 a.m. police were called to a business in the 8100 block of Brentwood Industrial Court for a theft report. An employee had taken a company truck loaded with Omaha steaks. The company truck was located, however, the steaks were missing. Correction: the theft was from the Iowa Steak Company, not from Omaha Steaks. See also: Suspected steak thief caught: employee

Thursday, Jan. 8

  • At 3:20 p.m. police responded to a business in the Brentwood Promenade for a shoplifting report. A 31-year-old man was arrested for stealing.  He had taken liquor and laundry detergent.
  • At 6:15 p.m. police were called to a residence on Yorkshire Place for a theft report. Several items had been taken from the residence.

Friday, Jan. 9

  • At 1:30 p.m. police responded to a business in the 1900 block of Urban Drive for a theft report. Items were taken from an unlocked locker.

Saturday, Jan. 10

  • At 7:16 a.m. officers responded to the 8700 block of Litzsinger Road for a car theft. A 2006 Volvo was taken from the driveway. It was unlocked and warming up.

Sunday, Jan. 11

  • At 12:25 p.m. police responded to a residence in the 8700 block of Lawn Avenue for a burglary report. Forced entry was made into the residence through the back door. Items were taken from the home.
