The Brentwood Historical Society wants to know if anyone remembers the Putt Putt Golf on Manchester Road, site of the current Brentwood Car Wash. The photo is circa 1962.
The photographer, Ted McCrea, was a St. Louis commercial photographer active from approximately 1946 to 1985 who specialized in aerial photography, according to the Missouri History Museum.
Darn right I remember that site. There was also a Trampoline site there. You would pay for 5/10mins of jump time. The tramps were ground level with pits below the mats. Spent many a nite there. There was also a large stand of cottonwood trees behind the putt-putt where that building stands. It was very Cool in that valley in the summertime. Great memories.
