Scouting for Food: Maplewood collected double from last year

Council-wide, the St. Louis area Boy Scouts collected 1,866,748 items of food for local foodbanks, according to a press release from the Greater St. Louis Area Council.

The Pathfinder District, which includes Maplewood-Richmond Heights, collected 88,174 items; 12 percent more than last year.

The breakdown of our local areas.- Clayton – 10,132 food items
– Creve Coeur – 9,790
– Ladue – 8,722
– Maplewood – 18,284 – double from last year
– Maryland Heights – 19,504
– University City – 14,666
– West Overland – 8,076
