Maplewood police and court records report the following charges:

Antonio D. Day, 32, of Maplewood, was charged with possession of a controlled substance — heroin — with intent to distribute. On December 30, 2015, in the 7500 block of Weaver Avenue, an officer executed a search warrant at Day’s residence. Day is not on the occupancy permit and was arrested for that violation. The officer searched Day and found four clear bags that the officer believed to be heroin. Day admitted to selling heroin to pay for his drug habit.

Joshua Mouanghane, 20, of St. Louis, was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. On May 8 at 7268 Sarah Street Mouanghane hit a car and fled. Police found Mouanghane through vehicle information and called him. Mouanghane told police he hit the vehicle and “freaked out.”

Jessica Leandrea Garth, 23, of St. Louis, was charged with stealing over $500 and resisting arrest. On May 1 at the Marshalls store, Garth put clothing and merchandise into shopping bags and left without paying. She drove away in a red Honda SUV. Marshalls called police and a description of her car was broadcast. An off-duty St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department detective who was in the area with his police radio on heard the broadcast, saw the car and followed it. Garth resisted arrest when stopped. Once she was arrested she gave a false name to police before admitting her true identity. The stolen merchandise totaled $716.
