A 40 South News reader said that vandals who have been shattering car windows in the St. Louis area hit his friend’s car on Lanham Avenue in Maplewood.
Police have reported more than 150 shattered car windows in St. Louis County and the city in mid-June, according to KMOV.
On June 20 residents in Maplewood and St. Louis Hills were the victims of what appears to be someone shooting car windows with a BB gun or pellet gun while leaving any valuables untouched.
Also, KMOV confirmed reports of the destruction at the corner of St. Elmo Avenue and Oxford Boulevard, and others.
Saw broken windows this morning in my parking lot at lyndover and yale.
